Twenty-eleven was quite an exciting year; just taking a look at my online journal and Google Zeitgeist will tell you that.

Twenty-twelve is sure to bring some interesting things to the table. To name a few, it is an election year, the Summer Olympics will be held in London, Queen Elizabeth’s 60th anniversary of succession to the throne, the final transit of Venus of the century, the first quad-core smartphones will be released, and if we survive beyond December 21, the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol will be complete by the end of the year.
